Apologetics Guild

The Three Dots

In 1 Peter 3:15 we are instructed to "always be ready to give a reasoned defense…" of Christianity. The word "apologetics" derives from the Greek word "apologia" which means 'a reasoned defense'.

Three dots arranged in an equilateral triangle comprise the logic symbol for the word "therefore"; a word one might use when presenting a logical conclusion that flows from a given argument. This captures the spirit of Christian Apologetics and reflects the mission of the Apologetics Guild, which is "To encourage and sharpen one another in the study, understanding & application of Christian Apologetics."

Therefore adverb
1.  Used to introduce a logical conclusion; from that fact or reason or as a result.
